What TestMyTech is
TestMyTech is a collection of quick browser-based testing tools for everyday hardware checks. The goal is simple: open a page, run the test, get your answer.
It covers common checks like display tests, audio tests, mouse and keyboard tests, webcam checks, and a few utility tools such as CPS and reaction time.
Why We built it
Most people don’t want to install software just to test one thing for 30 seconds. Sometimes you only want to check if a key is broken, if your mic works, or if your screen has a dead pixel. That’s exactly what this site is for.
How it works
The tools run directly in your browser using standard web APIs when available. In many cases, the checks happen locally on your device and don’t require uploads or signups. Privacy is a priority; we do not store or transmit your camera or microphone streams to any server. All processing happens locally in your browser.

A small note
Browser-based tools are very useful, but they still depend on your browser and device permissions. So if a tool behaves differently across devices, that’s normal.
